Case Study | Tier 1 CSPs – Automated Fault Management

Two large mobile and fixed line service providers had a need to consolidate and automate alarm/fault management in their NOCs to reduce manual operations. Network alarms and performance correlation using automation would enable them to improve the identification of the impact of a fault on the performance of a service and the reverse. With an automated Fault Management application, they expected to reduce the overall system total cost of operation (TCO) and reduce time to resolve problems. Through this, they would support monitoring the quality of their consumer and enterprise voice and data services over 2G, 3G and 4G networks.
