Mycom enhances Assurance portfolio with AI and Automation to support Autonomous Networks and Big Data applications

LONDON, UK – 17th April 2025 – Mycom, a leader in Network Assurance and Service Experience Assurance for Communications Service Providers (CSPs), has announced new applications and capabilities that focus on Autonomous Networks, AI and Big Data lakes.

New applications on AI and Big Data

  • Enhancements to AInsights for Pattern Detection for Root Cause Analysis to support predictive maintenance
    A new capability in the AInsights application utilizes a machine learning-driven pattern detection mechanism to automatically recognize predefined root cause patterns, enabling efficient diagnosis of network performance issues.   • New Data Fabric application to power AI service and business performance analytics
    This new application facilitates seamless streaming of normalized network and service data into CSP Data Lakes, where it can be stored, processed, and analyzed by external applications for business insights that support the CSP growth. The app empowers business users with real-time visibility of the network and service performance. Enhancements to Autonomous Networks and 5G/Enterprise Solutions

  • Mycom achieves Level 3/4 Autonomous Network Levels at CSPs
    Autonomous Networks Level 3/4 has been achieved by Mycom, through its Autonomous Networks Solution framework, aligned to TMForum’s definitions (IG 1326). Mycom has achieved operationalization in line with the TMForum AN Level definitions (Levels 0-5) at 3 Tier-1 CSPs for their multi-domain and multi-technology networks, including Fixed Broadband (E2E), 5G RAN, and IP Transport. Site outages for 5G RAN, IP Transport problems, Fiber alarms for Fixed Broadband, and Link/Route unavailability are some of the top business-critical use cases which have achieved Level 3/4.
  • Fixed Broadband (FTTx) Power Backup Optimization solution
    This solution supports CSPs in regions with power issues and limited power backups (batteries). The power interruptions impact the last mile equipment (OLT to CPE). The solution helps in optimizing power backup installations aligned with customer power backup availability to minimize end customer service impact. CSPs can prioritize the area or network elements (OLTs) for battery installations to avoid service failure and save significant opex.
  • GTP Proxy Performance Monitoring solution
    This mobile network solution ensures seamless network performance with advanced monitoring for GTP (GPRS Tunnelling Protocol) Traffic. GTP Proxy acts as an intermediary; terminating and potentially manipulating GTP traffic before forwarding it to the intended destination. Mycom’s GTP Proxy Performance Monitoring solution covers detailed observability of the SDRA (Selective Data Routing Agent), SSTP (Secure Socket Tunnelling Protocol) and AMMS (Authentication and Mobility Management System).
  • E2E Service Monitoring of PLL (Pseudo-wired leased line) solution for enterprise
    Mycom has released an end-to-end service monitoring solution tailored for Pseudo-Wired Leased Line (PLL) services offered by CSPs to enterprises. Designed to enhance visibility and operational efficiency, the solution offers complete impact assessment by mapping and correlating logical and physical network components involved in service delivery. By addressing the limitations in traditional monitoring approaches, this solution empowers CSPs to ensure better customer experience and SLA adherence.
